Frank & Paul Gems was created and founded by Niya Ross. The brand was birthed from a deep desire for self-expression, giving others the space to present themselves artistically and authentically. Our mission is simple: we want women to feel good, look good, and fully embrace their originality and confidence.

Born in Washington, DC and raised in the DMV, Niya graduated high school and went straight to college to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. After earning her degree from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, she traveled across the country caring for little ones and nursing them back to health—but still felt unfulfilled.

After taking a much-needed mental break, she chose to pivot, launching Frank & Paul Gems as a creative outlet and she hasn’t looked back since.

But why jewelry? Niya has loved jewelry since childhood. Her grandmother gifted her a wooden jewelry box for Christmas and her very first pair of gold hoop earrings, a moment that sparked a lifelong passion.
